2026 Terms & Conditions

Submission of Artwork

All artworks must be:

1. Registered by 5 p.m. on 4 October 2026. Later – too late!

2. Original works must have been produced within the past two years by the artist and must be offered for sale at a stated price (including GST) on the Entry Form.

Artwork Labelling Requirements

A label must be securely attached to the back of your painting. This will be mailed to you prior to the show.

It will clearly show:

1. Artist’s Name
2. Artwork Title
3. Selling Price
4. Phone Number
5. Email Address
6. Banking Details (required for payment of any sold or winning artworks)
7. If you are U18 to be eligible for the Secondary School Students’ Blooms the Chemist Young People’s Award

Important Entry Requirements

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE WITHOUT:

1. A completed label attached to the back of your painting

2. A suitable hanging device

If these are not provided, your artwork will NOT be accepted.

All works must be ready for hanging with wire or cord attached.

Entry Form Requirements

  • Complete the entire Entry Form, including all measurements (total width and height including frame)
  • Provide a photo reference number for each artwork
  • Maximum of 3 artworks per artist
  • Daylesford Rotary reserves the right to refuse any artwork deemed unsuitable for exhibition
  • Entry fees will only be refunded if artworks are deemed unsuitable for hanging
  • Maximum artwork size: 1.2m x 1.2m (oversized works will not be accepted)

Artwork Photography

  • A digital photo of each artwork must be emailed to info@daylesfordartshow.com.au for online promotion or uploaded at time of entry
  • Images must include the full artwork (including frame), taken straight on with minimal glare
  • File size: approximately 500 kb – 1 MB

  • Completed forms, photos, and payment must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Sunday 4 October 202

Photographs & Promotion

Daylesford Rotary may, at its sole discretion, photograph entered artworks and use these images for promotion, including online and social media use.

Commission

Artists agree that upon sale of artwork, Daylesford Rotary will retain a 25% commission based on the sale price listed on the Entry Form, or as later negotiated by the artist with a buyer.

Judging

The judging panel is selected solely by the Daylesford Art Show Committee

All judging decisions are final and not subject to review or appeal

All artworks must be entered by 5 p.m. on 4 October 2026 and meet all eligibility requirements, including being produced within the past two calendar years
